Winner
A normal 4 v 4 game but when a goal is scored the goal scorer must leave the
pitch until their place is taken by the next goalscorer. This is designed to favour
the losing team each time by making the game 4 v 3 each time.
N.B Make the goals big so there are plenty of goals.
Solo
A normal 4 v 4 game but when the coach shouts out ‘SOLO’ the player with the ball has to try and dribble
and score a goal himself, he is not allowed to pass if he does the team loses possession.
Win by 1
Normal game of 4 v 4 but you can never lead the game by more than one goal so when a
team leads they need to simply maintain possession. The game needs to go to a time limit
and we suggest 4 minutes. If a team scores a deliberate own goal or goes in front by 2 then
they automatically lose!
Gone in 60 Seconds
Normal game of 4 v 4 but when a goal is scored it doesn't count for 60 seconds and is wiped out
if the other team scores within that 60 seconds. If the same team scores again the first goal counts
and the second goal has the normal 60 seconds added again before it counts and so on.
N.B This can be a great game at grassroots level as the players will run to get the ball after each
goal so the game keeps going.
Total Football
Normal game of 4 v 4 but a goal doesn't count unless every member of the team has touched the ball in the move
leading up to the goal without an opposing player touching the ball.
5 Pass Game
Normal 4 v 4 game with goals counting as usual but you can also get a goal by stringing together 5 passes
without the opposition touching the ball.
N.B To make it more frantic you can let each team score in any goal it will mean players will be quicker to
close down players
Passing Points
A goal is worth the number of passes in the move that created it. Every time the other team touches the ball the count
has to restart.
N.B Coaches please note a bit of mental arithmetic here or a note book!
Touches
Normal 4 v 4 game but each player is limited to a set number of touches. If a player has more than set number of touches
it is a free kick.
Man to Man
Each player is paired with a player from the opposing team and they are the only ones allowed
to tackle each other.
Colour Match
A Normal game of 4 v 4 but all players on both teams wear the same colour bibs so players have to
communicate with each other verbally. This game gets players using their footballing brain.
Head Height
A normal game of 4 v 4 but a free kick is given against the team who touched the ball last before it went above head height.
Forfeit
Normal 4 v 4 game but when a goal is scored one of the opposition players has to do a lap of the
pitch before they can rejoin the game.To make it interesting you can get the scorer to nominate
the player to run. However the player running cannot be the next player in his team to run again
if they concede again!!!!!!
Big Goal
A normal 4 v 4 game but you make one goal twice the size of the other and so one team needs a goal
keeper and one team doesn’t. You play the game in 2 halves so both teams get to defend the big goal.
Soccer Rugby
Designate a pitch with two try lines (or end zones). You play Soccer Rugby were the ball is not allowed to be passed
forward so you have to
run with the ball to go forwards and a goal is scored when you run over the line with the ball.
End Zone Soccer
(use try Line Soccer setup)
Play 4 v 4 with each team having their own end zone to defend (between endline). The players
are free to move anywhere on the pitch but a goal is scored when a team is able to pass the
ball to one of their own players inside the opposing end zone.
North, South, East & West (or Chaos Soccer)
Play a normal game of 3 v 3 v 3 v 3 across each other so one big game is happening. The pitch is set out with 4 goals
in the N,E,W,S positions and one ball. Play with four teams of 4 and one ball. As soon as one team scores 5 goals they
are the winners.

MINI GAME
This is a game all about the player’s movement
Players are not allowed to run with the ball. The only way to move the ball is for one player to throw the ball to another
player who can either head or throw the ball to another player who catches it. A goal can only be scored from a header.
